Principal, Stevens, Valentine & McKeever
Leonard W. Stevens, Principal of Stevens, Valentine & McKeever,
is responsible for developing and directing the executive search practice
and professional services. His 20+ years of experience includes the
sourcing, assessment and selection of professional personnel and top
executive candidates for positions in national and international client
companies. He conducts searches for a variety of service industries
including: Diversified Financial Services, e-Commerce, Insurance and
Banking.
Prior
to consulting, he was a senior manager in Human Resources with the
Continental Corporation, then ranked as the 12th largest International
Diversified Financial Services Company headquartered in New York City.
His responsibility included establishing a Central Staffing function
and developing various recruitment and employee relation strategies.
In addition, he assisted in the "start-up" of new profit
centers that were both national and international in scope.
Mr. Stevens has held responsibilities at the divisional level within
The Hartford, ITT Human Resources group in both the Eastern Division
and the New York City Division offices. Additionally, he served within
the Services and Operations Group while with the Allstate Insurance
Company.
Mr.
Stevens educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree
in Industrial Relations from LaSalle University (Philadelphia) He has
completed numerous industry seminars and continuing education programs.
He is an active member of of New Jersey Technology Council, Society
for Human Resource Management and SHRM Consultants Forum.
